Viva Networks and Sensé Communication Team Up To Deliver Complete Communications Services

Complementary product portfolios address remote and mobile communications needs

Ottawa, Ontario – October 24, 2013: Choice, flexibility, and end-to-end services for remote and mobile communications are the benefits customers with dispersed operations will receive as a result of a new partnership between Viva Networks and Sensé Communication.

Viva Networks, a leading provider of complete, end-to-end fixed terrestrial and satellite-based network provisioning, monitoring, maintenance and management services, has partnered with Sensé Communication, a leading provider of fixed and satellite-based voice, Internet and mobile data communications systems. The new partnership allows the two companies to leverage the capabilities of their complementary product and service portfolios to provide integrated communications solutions to customers across Canada with operations beyond the reach of traditional communications networks. Viva Networks will provide customers with end-to-end, satellite-based broadband internet products and services, and Sensé Communication will provide complete, satellite-based mobile communications products and services.

“This new partnership provides customers with a one-stop-shop for all their business-critical voice and data communications needs between head office and remote and mobile operations, and among employees working in remote regions,” said Gilles Desmarais, President, Viva Networks. “It brings together the strengths of our combined product and service offerings to make it easier for customers to create and maintain an efficient, effective, and integrated business communications network for any operation outside of major urban centers.”

The combined portfolio of flexible, scalable satellite voice and data broadband solutions is designed to meet the fixed and mobile communication requirements of medium and large enterprise customers in the oil and gas, mining, and hydro electric industries, as well as government agencies operating anywhere in North America. It delivers next-generation satellite communications capabilities by leveraging field tested and proven products and platforms from iDirect, Comtech, Romantis, Iridium® Mobile, Inmarsat, and GlobalStar™.

“By working together, Sensé Communication and Viva Networks can address the complete communication life cycle requirements of customers with dispersed operations — from handsets to VSAT systems and portable internet access terminals,” said Ross Newcombe, President, Sensé Communication. “We provide full turnkey solutions, engineering and support services and allow customers to avoid relying on multiple vendors for products and services that not only enable their operations, but also enhance them by ensuring the uninterrupted flow of vital business communications wherever their business takes them.”

About Viva Networks
Viva Networks provides vendor and technology neutral, end-to-end managed network services and networking solutions, which go beyond traditional connectivity offerings to ensure the reliability, performance and security of business-critical communications networks. Viva Networks services simplify the process, reduce the cost, and eliminate the risk associated with creating, deploying, maintaining, and managing efficient and secure wide area, high speed data, voice and multimedia networks and services. These services reduce network downtime at the network, desktop and application level that can negatively impact the business productivity of medium and large enterprises and government agencies, which rely on communications networks for local and remote operations worldwide, but don’t have the resources to effectively manage network and IT infrastructures. www.viva-networks.com
